How to check and handle the high-temperature shutdown of air compressor

1. Check the cooler of air compressor.

 If it is a air-cooled cooler, check whether there is too much dust, which may lead to poor ventilation. As a result, the air compressor equipment cannot reach enough heat dissipation, and high temperature is likely to occur. Water-cooled chillers should check if there is too much incrustation to cause blockage. The water cannot reduce the temperature of the oil point, thereby failing to dissipate heat.

 2. Check whether the oil and oil level of air compressor are lower than the minimum limit of the oil scope.

 Under the condition of too little oil, air compressor can't get enough cooling and lubrication during the whole operation.

 3. Check the temperature control valve.

 Temperature control valve, it is like a four-way valve. When the temperature is low, the oil circulation is from the oil separator to the head of the main engine to lubricate and dissipate heat. When the temperature in the oil circulation generally reaches about 80-88 degrees, the temperature control valve will gradually open to allow the oil of the oil separator to cool through the cooler and then send it to the main engine for cooling cycle.

 4. Check the oil break valve and oil filter.

 The oil filter plug will lead to a small amount of oil into the main engine head. Generally, the oil filter must be replaced periodically. If the oil break valve is not fully opened, too little oil will cause the engine head to heat up gradually until the alarm stops.

 5. Check the temperature sensor and temperature switch.

 It is a very important check. The temperature sensor, which is a thermal resistor, acts as a signal detector, transmitting the signal to the computer's main controller. If the sensor fails, the detected temperature will be inaccurate, which may cause the master alarm to stop. There are also bad contact of the sensor's wire, which will also cause the main control alarm to stop.
