Air compressor troubleshooting

The common troubleshooting table of atlas copco ,ingersoll rand,sullair, kaeser,hitachi,kobelco,fusheng air compressor is as follows: 

Breakdown

Cause

Elimination methods

1、compressor Unable to boot 

a、Fuse overburning

Please the staff check and replace

b、Protection relay failure.

c、Start the relay failure.

d、 Too low voltage

e、Motor breakdown

f、Compressor main machine breakdown

Push the coupler,

2、High running current causes the   compressor to  automatic tripping

a、 too low voltage

Please the staff check and replace

b、High exhaust pressure

Check the exhaust pressure setting   value.

c、The lubricating oil specification is   not accurate.

Exchange lubricating oil

d、The air oil separator is blocked.

Exchange air oil separator

e、Compressor main machine breakdown

Please contact the customer service   department of the company if the coupler don’t rotate

3、Running current below normal value

a. Air consumption is too high   (pressure is operating below the set value)

Check consumption and check the   compressor

b. air filter blocked

Clean or replace the air filter

c. Failure of air inlet controller.

Remove, cleaning ,check air inlet   controller.

4、Compressor non-loading

a. the solenoid valve fails.

Replace solenoid valve

b. The intake pipe is leaking.

Replace leaking hose.

c. Failure of inlet controller.

Check valve

5、Compressor not non-loading

a. The solenoid valve fails or   the coil burns.

Repair, or replace

b. The pressure transmitter breakdown

c.Failure of air inlet controller

6、The exhaust temperature is below   normal.

a.  environmental temperature is low

Adjust the cooling water outlet valve

bThe cooling water is too large.

c.Idle for too long

Increase air consumption

d. The thermocouple measurement is   incorrect.

Change the thermocouple

7、Compressor overtemperature

a. Insufficient lubricating oil

Check oil level, or add lubricating   oil.

b.  Insufficient cooling water.

Add to the amount of water

c. The cooling water temperature is   too high

Use cooler water.

d. High temperature.

Increase exhaust and reduce room   temperature.

e. oil cooler blockage.

Check, remove and wash with potions.

f.  The lubricating oil specification not correct

Check the oil number, and replace the   instructions with oil.

g.Oil filter blocked.

Replace oil filter

h.break valve failure, valve core card   dead.

Remove the check.

8、The oil content in the air is high,   and the oil adding cycle is shortened.

a. The oil level   is too high.

Check the oil level

b. The oil drain   hole is blocked.

Remove the cleaning

c. Low exhaust   pressure

Increase exhaust pressure

d. The filter   element of the oil and gas separator is blocked.

Replace the new product

e. Minimum   pressure valve spring fatigue.

Replace the new product

f. Oil   deterioration

Replace oil

9、An increased noise

a、The inlet bearing is damaged.

Remove the replacement

b、The exhaust end bearing is damaged.

Remove the replacement

c、Motor bearing damage

Remove the replacement

10、The discharge volume and pressure are   lower than the specified value.

a. The air filter is blocked.

Clean and replace filter element.

b. The air inlet controller integrated   with the vent valve has not been shut down all the time.

Check valve core and reset spring.

c. The filter element of the oil and   gas separator is blocked.

Replace the filter element

d. The gas consumption exceeds the   displacement of the compressor

Check the connection of the equipment   to clear the leakage point.

11、The air oil mist is ejected from the   air filter after shutdown

a. The oil break valve is undead

Remove the inspection cleaning and   replace the air filter cartridge

b. One-way valve leakage.

Remove the check

c. Load down

Check whether the inlet valve core is   stuck

12、No condensation water is discharged   when loading

a. blowdown

Check and troubleshoot.

b. Plug or failure of electronic drain   valve.

Clean or replace

13、The relief valve is released   immediately after loading

a、Safety valve failure

Disassemble and replace the damaged   parts

b、The minimum pressure valve core is   jammed and cannot be opened

Remove the overhaul and adjust the   spring

14、The compressor is running normally,   and it is difficult to start after shutdown

a、Use oil labels or mixed oils.

Replace oil thoroughly after cleaning.

b、Oil viscous, coking.

Replace oil thoroughly after cleaning.

c、Serious leakage of shaft seal.

Remove the replacement

d、The intake control valve core is   jammed and cannot be reset.

reposition

15、Pressure continued to rise after   unloading

a、Serious leakage of shaft seal.

Remove the replacement

b、The intake control valve core is   jammed and cannot be reset.

reposition

16、Air and load are frequent.

a、Pipeline leak

Check the leak location and fix it.

b、Loading pressure unloading pressure   setting error.

Reset the two parameters to ensure   that the unloading pressure is 0.1mpa.

c. The use of air is unstable.

Additional gas storage tank

d. The gas volume does not match the   compressor.

Replace the matching compressor.

e、A check valve is installed in the   outer air supply line of the unit, and the control air pressure point is not   removed from the gas-water separator to the check valve.

After moving the control gas pressure   point from the gas-water separator to the check valve, screw the suction   nozzle on the gas-water separator.
